# Skill for your coding agent

> Install the Doconda skill and your Claude Code, Cursor or Codex will integrate the API and SDK without mistakes.

If you code with an agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex…), the Doconda skill teaches it to use the API, the SDK and the
MCP server: which request to send for each case, how to check the result and what each error means. It loads on its own
when the code touches Doconda.

## Install

For any agent that supports skills:

```bash theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark-dimmed"}}
npx skills add B-C-Software/doconda-skills
```

In Claude Code, also as a plugin, which brings the skill and the [MCP server](/en/agents/mcp):

```
/plugin marketplace add B-C-Software/doconda-skills
/plugin install doconda@doconda
```

The MCP server reads your key from `DOCONDA_API_KEY` (`ak_eu_…` or `ak_us_…`).

<Tip>
  By hand: copy the `skills/doconda` folder from the [repository](https://github.com/B-C-Software/doconda-skills) into
  `~/.claude/skills/` (all your projects) or `.claude/skills/` (just one).
</Tip>

## What it teaches

* Which operation to choose: create from a sentence or from your Markdown, review, edit, read a file or create an artifact.
* Always checking `status`, the report and `style_unsupported`, and never storing links that expire.
* Errors, retries and `Idempotency-Key`, key regions and `store: false`.
* Giving Doconda to an agent with MCP or with `doconda.tools()`.
