Organization and members

The first time you sign in to the dashboard, your organization is created, with a Default project and €5 free.
  • Owner (owner): billing, members and settings.
  • Member (member): everything else (documents, API keys, playground).
Invite by email in Organization → Members. The person joins the organization when they sign in with that email. If you belong to several organizations, switch between them from the top menu.

Projects and regions

A project groups its documents, its files and its API keys. An organization can have up to 50.
  • Each project has a region, eu or us, chosen when it is created and never changed. Its documents are stored and processed (AI included) in that region.
  • Its API keys carry the region in the prefix: ak_eu_… or ak_us_…. A key only works against its region’s API: https://api.eu.doconda.com/v1 or https://api.us.doconda.com/v1. The SDK picks it from the key.
  • A project can store nothing: its documents are deleted 15 minutes after they finish.

API keys

In API keys in the dashboard, per project. The full key is shown only once, when you create it: save it. After that only its beginning is visible. Revoking it cuts it off immediately.

Pricing

You pay per delivered document. Failed ones are not charged. With quality: "auto" (the default) you pay the level Doconda uses; to start, the balance must cover the highest level it may pick (max_quality caps it). Prices exclude VAT. Each organization can request up to 120 documents per minute (reads included); above that, 429 rate_limited. The editor plugin is separate, per organization: monthly, yearly or one-time plan, with a 7-day free trial. Each plan’s price is in the dashboard.

Balance

Documents are paid from a prepaid balance, one for the whole organization.
  • Top up: in Billing → Add balance, from €5 to €1,000 (shortcuts for €10, €25 and €100), by card via Stripe. If you have a discount code, enter it at checkout: you get the full balance even though you pay less.
  • Auto top-up: when the balance drops below an amount, it tops up automatically with the card from your last top-up. If the card declines the charge, it is turned off and the dashboard says why.
  • No balance: if there isn’t enough for the document, the API responds 402 insufficient_balance and doesn’t start it.
  • Invoices: in Billing → Invoices and card (the Stripe portal).
The dashboard shows usage for the last 30 days: documents, how many used AI, pages and spend.
